At Bell Shakespeare, we are committed to making Shakespeare’s works accessible to all Australians. Our productions and events are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and barrier-free so everyone can enjoy them.

Venues

We perform at various venues across Australia each year and strive to ensure they are accessible for all patrons. Many of our venues, including our home at Pier 2/3, feature:

  • Accessible restrooms
  • Assistive listening technology

Our productions cater to a wide range of accessibility needs, including:

How to book

Tickets to Bell Shakespeare performances can be booked directly through our venue partners. You can visit our production pages to access each venue's page respectively or view our list of accessible performances. You can book a Bell Shakespeare season package directly from the Bell Shakespeare website, or by calling our box office.

If you require a wheelchair seat when booking your season package, please indicate this using the 'Enter seating requests' free text form during the booking process. Our box office team will be able to allocate your request once received.

We offer a range of concession prices to ensure our performances are suitable for everyone. These include concessions for pensioners, seniors, veteran affairs, students, and companion card holders, as well as an under 35s price.

Companion Cards

We are proud to be a Companion Card affiliate, ensuring that individuals requiring attendant care support can bring a companion free of charge. Please notify us at the time of booking and present your Companion Card when collecting tickets.
