Brimming with magic, mirth and mayhem, the 2024 national tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream has delighted audiences across Australia.

Over five months long, this was a mammoth undertaking for Bell Shakespeare and the cast and crew of A Midsummer Night's Dream. This massive tour included stops in Sydney, Bunbury, Albany, Margaret River, Perth, Melbourne, Shepparton, Warrnambool, Horsham, Wangaratta, Geelong, Orange and Tamworth.

Hear from the cast below about their favourite experiences while on tour, as well as some interesting statistics on just how far they have travelled.

“Remembering Finn’s delicious hugs, Maree’s infectious laugh, Shannon’s limitless heart, Chris’ profound knowledge, Hayley’s side-stage wit, Richard’s wild mischief, Michael’s enviable prowess, Matu’s soulful wisdom, Laurence’s kind eyes, Imogen’s feathered hat, Ahunim’s fierce intelligence and love, Isabel’s generous leadership, Tom’s masterful switching and Merri’s special Puck.

For all of them, a million more thoughts and so much admiration.” — Ella Prince

For now, it is time for the cast and crew of A Midsummer Night's Dream to get some well-deserved rest — hopefully without any offensive shadows and mischievous fairies.
