Digital HSC Shakespeare Seminars in partnership with the University of Sydney
Part performance, part interactive seminar, these online sessions are designed to directly link to HSC modules and give students the edge in upcoming exams. Designed to provide two unique perspectives in conversation – academic and dramatic – Bell Shakespeare’s HSC Seminars offer students rich content, supported by live performance.
For those who can't attend in person, we are delighted to offer recordings of their chosen seminar. Each seminar features Bell Shakespeare artists and leading academics from the University of Sydney including Professor of Early Modern Literature, Liam Semler and Associate Professor Huw Griffiths presenting illuminating and engaging content on each play. The Players from Bell Shakespeare perform key scenes and soliloquies to demonstrate ideas presented and key content from each play.
Combining live performance, academic analysis and illuminating dramatic insights into the plays, sessions are presented in a dynamic format demonstrating the interplay between text and drama.
