Romeo and Juliet is recommended for audiences aged 14+. Please be advised that Shakespeare’s original play contains depictions of violence, murder, sexual references, and suicide. We recommend that adults bringing young people to the production take the time to discuss the plot and themes of Romeo and Juliet with them prior to attending. Resources about the play, including a detailed synopsis, can be found on the Shakespeare Hub.
