Please complete the form below to submit your application for Bell Shakespeare's 2024 Work Experience program. Applications close on 30 June 2024 at 11.59pm AEST.
Please attach a statement of intent. The statement of intent gives us information about you, what you're interested in, and how our Work Experience program would be of value to you.
You can choose to submit your statement of intent as a written response or a video submission.
For Written Response:
- No more than 2 pages (11 or 12-point font)
- Attach as a PDF or Word doc with the title ‘Your full name – Bell Shakespeare Work Experience 2024’
For Video Submission:
- No more than 2 minutes in duration
- Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and make it password-protected (submit your password with the URL, and make sure you check that spelling is correct)
- Title your video: ‘Your full name – Bell Shakespeare Work Experience 2024’
In your statement of intent, answer the following questions:
- Tell us a little about yourself – who are you and where are you from?
- What areas of theatre are you most interested in?
- Why do you want to be a part of the Bell Shakespeare Work Experience program?
- What is your personal connection to Shakespeare?
- Imagine you have just started a new job working at Bell Shakespeare. You have been asked to create a new program or creative project. Tell us what would you create and who would be the target audience?
We want to see your personality shine through your application – don’t tell us want you think we want to hear, tell us what you really think!
Please ensure you have parental/guardian permission to participate before applying, and inform your teacher that you will be applying. If successful, Bell Shakespeare will confirm your permission to attend the Work Experience week with the teacher and parent/guardian you list below.
